Today, my boyfriend took me out on an early Valentines day date. We played in the arcade (well, it was mostly him) and we ate in Makati Supermarket Alabang. At the end of the day, we acquired enough tickets for a new stuffed toy! It made me really happy because I haven't had a new stuffed toy in such a long time. It's fairly bigger than all of the ones I've gotten so far as well. It takes me like 3 of my regular-sized stuffed toys to get it at the same height as this one.
What a cutie ♥
For some weird reason my boyfriend insists on calling her Georgina. ダメです。この名前は可愛くないです。I want to call her Kyouko. I actually don't know why but Kyouko is a cute name. As an afterthought, her polka dotted ribbon reminded me of Sakura Chiyo from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun...
このデートは楽しかった！ I had fun and spending time with my 好きな人 was great, even if it was only for a short while. Honestly, getting this huge plushie is what made this day extra special. ♥
Well, this is a fairly short post! Kind of a life update. Thanks for reading! じゃ、またね！

♥ Plushies ♥
Oh my gosh, it's been so long since I've posted anything on here! I've been really busy ever since I started going to college and it's hard to think about content, honestly. But I am trying my best to get some things lined up so I can post more often again! ♥ Please look forward to those!
So today, I'll be talking about my stuffed toy collection! It's nothing impressive since it's only starting out, but I'm hoping for it to get pretty big! Whenever there's a cute plushie up for grabs when me and my boyfriend go out on arcade dates, I just have to get my hands on it! It's usually through exchanging tickets over the counter for a prize, but I also have one that was gotten from a crane machine. 超ラッキー！♥

Lately, I've been kind of obsessed with skirts. If you've been following me on Instagram (which is @_caspvargas
, by the way; just shamelessly plugging it here...), you would notice that all of my #ootds are outfits with skirts.
So far, I only have three skirts; a grey skirt from my best friend, a peach lace skirt, and a white silk skirt with small red flowers printed on it. The latter two are from the thrift shop haul I posted a few weeks ago! At first, I really wasn't sure what to pair these skirts with, since I don't really have much of a wardrobe to work with, but thankfully my "fashion sense" gave me some ideas.

Look at all these cute stuff!
Yesterday, I went to the mall to buy stuff for school! I ended up buying so many pink things. I'm sorry (not really, oops). Then today, I went to the thrift shop! I brought 500PhP (roughly 11.50 USD; not even close to the $20 in Macklemore's pocket) with me, and I only managed to buy four items of clothing with it but it's okay because they're SUPER cute. 嬉しい！Click to read more! First Time Trying Polyvore!
My first set using Polyvore!
I remember seeing this really cute outfit set on Tumblr yesterday, and I told my best friend Den I wanted to make my own, and so she suggested I try out Polyvore
. The website looks very sleek and simple, and the Create option (where you can make your own outfit sets) is very user friendly.
What I really liked about the Create option was that it gave you the option to use a cropped version of the clothing item you included, so it's transparent all around (no ugly white rectangular backgrounds!). What I didn't like was that the search function sometimes didn't give me back what I asked for. Like, I'd ask for red, and I'd get blood orange (that's so pretentious). Sometimes it gives me 20 pages of results, sometimes it comes back with only 1.
The choices were good though, and I managed to come up with this! It's a Hello-Kitty inspired outfit. It's simple but still very cute! I admit, I wasn't actually going for Hello Kitty at first, but when I saw that bow-shaped ring, I know I had to. (My friend won't stop teasing me with Avril Lavigne's Hello Kitty song, I swear. I may love Avril, but I was totally not a fan of that).
Pictured (counter-clockwise, L-R): white long-sleeved blouse ($20, UNIQLO); false eyelashes ($20.50, Benefit); nail polish ($8.49, Essie); lip gloss ($2.80, FOREVER 21); belt ($118, Scunzani Ivo); shoes (Angelic Pretty); tights ($4.75, Amazon); ring ($6, ETSY).
To see the set via Polyvore, click here
. You can hover over the items to know more about them!
That's all for now! Tell me what you think about this set via the comment box! じゃ、またね！

Yesterday, I got home from my three-week vacation at my grandma's place! I was particularly excited about going home because 1.) I can finally stop eating fried chicken (it was insane, all we had was fried chicken all day err day -- literally!), and 2.) I was going to get a new phone! A smartphone, no less!
Mom rarely buys me gadgets, so when I found out I was getting a new phone, I was ecstatic.
It's an Alcatel One Touch Magic 4033E! My mom got it from the Sun shop as part of our monthly plan.
This is the front part! The screen is 4", apparently. That's my lock screen!
It runs on Android 4.2 (Jellybean). It's fairly fast and doesn't make apps lag and crash as easily as other Android devices. You can see the specs here
This is the back part. That's a 5MP camera. LOOK, IT'S PINK!
The rest of the review will be under the cut!

Movie Review: Kamikaze Girls
DVD cover for Kamikaze Girls
Recently, I've been getting into Japanese movies! Kamikaze Girls was recommended to me by someone on Tumblr. I immediately took a liking to it because 1.) the protagonist
(Momoko) is a sweet lolita
, and 2.) the other protagonist
(Ichiko) is a member of an all-girl biker gang
. Don't be misled by its title; it's got nothing to do with war or anything of the sort.
Kamikaze Girls, originally a light novel by Novala Takemoto, has been adapted into a manga and a live-action movie. It's a coming of age tale, and one of the aspects of it that I really like is that it doesn't use romance as its main story point. Rather, it focuses on the unlikely friendship of the two leads, Momoko and Ichiko.
